DEFIANT DECKS COMPANY HISTORY

It was in a dank cave deep in the desert where the story of Defiant came to be…

With the law hot their trail, Ian and Dallas went looking for a place to lay low. They had driven hard through the rain soaked night, fumbling over old maps and ascending deeper into the desert. Fuel running low, the pair turned off the headlights and pulled down a secluded dirt road. Behind some thick brush they hid the old Camaro and carrying what they could, set off on foot. Within minutes, it was obvious they were not alone. Something was stalking them and it was getting closer with every step. But, there was no time to stop and neither wanted to find out what was behind them. Senses alert to the unfamiliar sounds of the desert, muscles burning from fighting the impassable terrain, the two trudged on through the mud and muck. After what seemed like hours, they came across a large cave. There was an eerie glow from a fire and a faint chanting emanating from inside cave. Without warning a strange man appeared at the entrance. In a raspy voice, the man whispered, “The desert is not safe at night, come with me”. It was late and the rain was cold, so the two decided to follow. As they entered the dimly lit cave, fantastic images of creatures covered the walls. The man whispered, “My name is Nick, I am an artist. I came to these woods to find myself”. He stops and points towards a mural of a small voodoo doll, “but something found me instead…and it’s out there tonight”. Ian shot back, “we are just passing through…well be out of here by the morning”. Nick shakes his head “It knows your here, and it won’t let you leave. It has to be stopped”…

On a cold dreary night, fate had brought together three misunderstood souls. It was at this point the trio of misfits would devise a plan to rid themselves of the menace lurking in the dark. They had to be defiant in the face of danger, and expose the plague of evil and greed seeping through the culture, suffocating free thinking and expression…
